Children's Printing Workshops

This summer join us for free children's printing workshops!

There are 2 workshops to choose from:

Tuesday 26th July: Sun-printing. Using the sun to create different patterns on fabric. Create a design to take home.

Tuesday 23rd August: Printing with iconic biscuits. Choose your favourite biscuit to make patterns on fabric. Create a work of art to take home.

Please note, you will need one ticket per child participating. Adults do not need a ticket. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Workshops are held at the 5 Ways Cafe at St. Andrew's Church, located in Great Linford Manor Park. The cafe serves hot drinks and biscuits for a small donation. Everyone is welcome, including well-behaved dogs.

Accessibility: Accessible parking is available outside St. Andrew's Church and a wheelchair ramp can be provided. A hearing loop is also available upon request - please contact events@theparkstrust.com ahead of your session.

These workshops are part of the Friends of Great Linford Manor Park 'Textile Project' with local artist Jane Charles, which is being funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. In the first phase of the project, participants created a series of art quilts using natural dyes and materials found in the Manor Park. This second phase is based at the 5 Ways Cafe at St. Andrew's Church and is called 'Tea & Textiles' as we work together to produce cafe-inspired textile artwork, including a tablecloth for the cafe.
