Family Bat Walk: Stony Stratford Nature Reserve
Did you know that Milton Keynes is home to several types of bats? Bring the whole family and join us for a Bat Walk at Stony Stratford Nature Reserve. Our friendly guide will share amazing facts about bats and help you spot them flying through the night sky.
Event Details:
• Date & time: Wednesday 6th August at 8:30pm
• Meeting spot: Stony Stratford Nature Reserve, Queen Eleanor Street
• What3Words location ///remote.jolt.grumbling
We’ll start just before sunset, so please check the time and arrive early for a quick briefing, where you’ll also learn how to use the bat detectors!
Because these events are popular, pre-booking is essential. Each person needs a ticket, and children must be with an adult. Dress warmly as it can get cooler once the sun sets.
Please note that the paths may have little or no lighting, with a mix of hard and soft ground. If you have any questions about accessibility, feel free to contact us before booking, and we’ll do our best to help.
A portable hearing loop is available if needed; just email us at events@theparkstrust.com.
Only assistance dogs are welcome on this walk. We look forward to a fun, family-friendly evening exploring the world of bats!
