Talk: What can we learn from bird ringing?

Join us for an evening with a local bird ringer who will share fascinating insights from years of experience. Through stories and stunning photographs, you'll discover more about the birds that live in and visit our area—from familiar garden species to some surprising and unusual guests.

Whether you're a seasoned birdwatcher or simply curious, this talk promises to be both informative and inspiring.

The talk will take place at Howe Park Wood Education Centre. Seating and a small selection of hot and cold drinks will be provided. Entrance to the building from the car park is accessible, and there are accessible toilets in the building. The talk is aimed at adults and accompanied children over 15 years old.

Please note this talk will be delivered using visual aids on a projector screen. Talk notes can be provided, and a hearing loop is available on request. Due to the time of year, it will be dark when exiting the building - there is limited lighting outside the Education Centre.

We would love to make these sessions enjoyable for all, so please do get in touch if you have any accessibility requirements: outdoorlearning@theparkstrust.com.
