Walk & Talk: Wonderful Willen Through a Sociological Lens
This guided walk on Wednesday 24th February from 10:30am-12:30pm will start from The Tree Cathedral and along the way pass by the Buddhist Temple. Peace Pagoda and Stone Circle at Willen Lake North.
During this walk we will explore how the landmarks around Willen Lake reflect the unique culture and social make up of Milton Keynes, how this has changed over time and how The Parks Trust cares for its cultural treasures.
We will mostly be following the main paths although we may venture into grassland to get up close to some features. It will be at a brisk pace to enable us to see a range of features in the given time.
This event is for adults and children aged 12 and over. Anyone under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that the event will take place entirely outdoors, so participants are advised to dress appropriately for the weather conditions.
Dogs - Only assistrance dogs are allowed.
