£1.00 Women's Walking Network: Ouse Valley Park Women's Walking Network: Ouse Valley Park Monthly walks for women in the parks

Come and join our walking group for women this month as we discover the Floodplain Forest and Ouse Valley Park. This 4-mile walk follows a loop of the Grand Union Canal and River Ouse, offering sights such as the Iron Trunk Aqueduct and our amazing Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve, home to a fantastic range of wildlife including Great White Egrets and our Konik Ponies.

The walk will set off at 10am following a briefing from our Volunteer Walk Leaders, so please arrive just before 10am. We walk at a fairly brisk pace so please ensure this is suitable for your needs and wear sturdy footwear. We will take short breaks at times for water so you may wish to bring some. Sorry dogs are not permitted (with the exception of service dogs) and this is an adult only activity.

£1.00 Women's Walking Network: Shenley Wood Women's Walking Network: Shenley Wood Monthly walks for women in the parks

Grab your walking boots and come and explore Shenley Wood, Howe Park Wood and the North Bucks Way on this month’s Women’s Walking Network. This walk is just over 5 miles and will be at a fairly brisk pace so please come prepared with sturdy footwear and appropriate walking attire. You may also want to bring some water for our short rest stops.

Our experienced Volunteers will lead you on the walk and ensure everyone is kept together. Booking is required at £1 per person. These walks are very popular, so if you have booked and can no longer able to make it then please let us know.

The walk will start at 10am so please arrive just before ready to set off after a safety briefing from our walk leader. Sorry dogs are not permitted (with the exception of service dogs) and this walk is for adults only. A map of the route is available to download below.

£1.00 Women's Walking Network: Stony Stratford Nature Reserve Women's Walking Network: Stony Stratford Nature Reserve Monthly walks for women in the parks

This month out Women’s Walking Network will be exploring Stony Stratford Nature Reserve and the Ouse Valley on a 4 mile walk. It’s a great way to get outdoors and stay active and meet lots of other like-minded women from the area. Our Volunteers will guide you along the way and ensure the group is kept together.

Meet the volunteer walk leaders on Thursday 1 September 2022 at 10am.  These walks are normally at a medium pace.  Please come prepared for a 2 hour walk with suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.

Stony Stratford Nature Reserve provides a variety of artificially created wetland habitats especially for waterfowl and waders.
