Junior Park Rangers Workshop 2025 - Willow, Wetlands and Waders
Join us for our free Junior Park Rangers workshop "Willow, Wetlands and Waders" on Saturday 8th November 2025.
You can sign up to one of two workshops - activities will be exactly the same for both:
- 10am – 12pm
- 1pm – 3pm
The workshops will take place at Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve.
Join the Outdoor Learning team at Floodplain Forest to discover wetlands, take part in a conservation task, and learn about "waders" and other birds that use the reserve. During the 2 hour session we will visit the bird hides, carry out a group conservation activity to help the creatures that live in the reserve, and make a nature-themed craft that you will take home with you.
Remember, these workshops are held exclusively for Junior Park Rangers, and are completely free of charge. Your adult does not need to stay with you for the workshop but if you would like them to please let us know in advance that someone will be attending.
Workshops are usually very popular, and booking is essential as numbers are limited.
Information for parents/carers: Please choose just one time slot, either 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm. Adults do not need to stay, however if you would like to accompany your JPR, please drop us an email in advance. Accompanying adults do not need to reserve a ticket.
Please note that you can only book onto this workshop if your school has signed up to the Junior Park Rangers scheme. We are unable to accommodate siblings or friends of JPRs.
If you have any queries or require any further information please email jpr@theparkstrust.com.
