Junior Park Rangers Wildlife Workshop 2026

Join us for our free Junior Park Rangers workshop  "Woods and Wildlife" on  Saturday 7th March 2026.

You can sign up to one of two workshops - activities will be exactly the same for both:

  • 9:30 am – 11.30 pm

  • 12.45 pm – 2.45 pm

The workshops will take place at  Howe Park Wood.

Join the Outdoor Learning team at Howe Park Wood to explore the ancient woodland, hunt for signs of wildlife and find out more about the incredible world of nature. There’s an opportunity to scientifically dissect an owl pellet too.

Remember, these workshops are held exclusively for Junior Park Rangers, and are completely  free of charge.

Workshops are usually very popular, and  booking is essential  as numbers are limited.

Information for parents/carers: Please remember to choose just one time slot. Adults do not need to stay. When you book, you will be asked to complete a parental consent form, which asks about any medical information that we need to know. If you would like to accompany your JPR for any reason, please drop us an email in advance.

Please note that you can only book onto this workshop if your school has signed up to the Junior Park Rangers scheme. We are unable to accommodate siblings or friends of JPRs.

If you have any queries or require any further information please email jpr@theparkstrust.com.
