Walk & Talk: City Gardens Wander
The Grade II listed park, Campbell Park has many designed features, but the City Gardens are often overlooked. Join this meandering afternoon walk on Monday 23rd March with a member of our landscape team and find out more about the original designs for this formal planted area, what plants and features are there now, and what the hopes are for the future as the residential areas around the park start to develop.
This event is for adults and accompanied children aged 12 and over.
Campbell Park has a number of steep slopes. The walk will be at a moderate pace with stops to look at landscape features. There are some benches on the route, however these are sporadic so you may wish to bring a portable stool with you if required.
Free, accessible parking is available at this park. Toilets, including an accessible toilet are available to use at the Pavilion on request. There are no refreshements available in this park. A hearing loop is available on request.
