Junior Park Rangers Workshop 2025 – Bushcraft and Bees
Join us for our free Junior Park Rangers workshop "Bushcraft and Bees" on Saturday 28th June 2025.
You can sign up to one of two workshops - activities will be exactly the same for both:
- 10am – 12pm
- 1pm – 3pm
The workshops will take place at Elfield Nature Park.
Join the Outdoor Learning team at Elfield Nature Park, a private reserve which is closed to the general public. With very few visitors, Elfield is a haven for wildlife, including a number of protected and endangered species which thrive in the quiet and untouched wilderness. During the 2 hours we will be taking part in bushcraft activities including fire lighting and whittling. This is an amazing opportunity for you to use real tools safely and have fun on the reserve!
Remember, these workshops are held exclusively for Junior Park Rangers, and are completely free of charge.
Workshops are usually very popular, and booking is essential as numbers are limited.
Information for parents/carers: Please remember to choose just one time slot, either 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm. Adults do not need to stay, however, if you would like to accompany your child, please drop us an email in advance. Accompanying adults do not need to reserve a ticket.
Please note that you can only book onto this workshop if your school has signed up to the Junior Park Rangers scheme. We are unable to accommodate siblings or friends of JPRs.
