Junior Park Rangers Workshop November 2026 - Wetland Wonders
Join us for our free Junior Park Rangers workshop "Wetland Wonders" on Saturday 14th November 2026.
You can sign up to one of two workshops - activities will be exactly the same for both:
- 09:30am-11:30am
- 12:30pm-14:30pm
The workshops will take place at Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve.
Join the Outdoor Learning team at Floodplain Forest to discover wetlands and conservation, take part in a craft activity, and learn about "waders" and other birds that use the reserve. During the 2 hour session we will take a guided walk through the park, learn about the unique flora and fauna of this habitat, take part in bird spotting using binoculars, and make a nature-themed craft that you will take home with you.
Remember, these workshops are held exclusively for Junior Park Rangers, and are completely free of charge. Your adult does not need to stay with you for the workshop but if you would like them to please let us know in advance that someone will be attending. Adults do not need a ticket.
Workshops are usually very popular, and booking is essential as numbers are limited.
Information for parents/carers: Please choose just one time slot, either 09:30am-11:30am or 12:30pm-14:30pm.
Please note that you can only book onto this workshop if your school has signed up to the Junior Park Rangers scheme. We are unable to accommodate siblings or friends of JPRs.
If you have any queries or require any further information please email jpr@theparkstrust.com.
